Yes, it’s long overdue. Yes, extenuating circumstances have kept us apart. After over a month of young Ryan giving his speech day after day after day, it’s finally time to break the silence:
Please send your regards to Daytona, my former faithful videographer, who lost his brother the day that the blog stopped back in April. In reverence to his loss, I took a hiatus to reflect on what’s really important in life, and celebrate my sister Joy’s graduation from USC with my family. Though Daytona is irreplaceable, we are seeking candidates who have the drive, desire, discipline, and dedication to diligently document our movement and fill his position…contact Brandon to be considered. ok, thats twice you got me.
#1. I thought “me & you” was the best song that RHIANNA had done. So I PURCHASED her album (didnt know the name of the song at the time). Sucked when I decided to send the CD back to her label saying “sorry, not your artist”
#2. TODAY… I got “just right” on a DJ MARV mixtape. I assumed it was BILAL. now I know it was you… wow TWICE.
I cant decide if I want to work for this movement or just remain a fan.

First and formost, sorry to hear about your friends lost. Sometimes we tend to forget the important things in life so I can understand the pause to take time out and reflect.
I must admit, before I heard the Cassie joint on the radio I didn’t know who you were. I did some research and found out that you did a few joint that I was feelin. You got skillz man. And this comes from a cat that used to finding an old dusty record and bringing it back to life in my own music production. I respect your stlye.
I want to thank you as well as young producers like the Neptunes and J dilla (RIP) for being that model that I strive for. I plan to take my music to the next level. I’m now learning the piano and plan to fade away from relying on samples to make music(sampling is a key element of Hip Hop if used the right way).
