Cassie pointed out that the Cheri Dennis record, “I Love You”, appeared on the Billboard charts without listing any producer or writer credits…What a suprise - especially since there was enough fanfare around the single to make a special chocolate to send out to radio stations with her song…

I Love You is the craziest beat for 2006. It was the hottest in 05. The sax is just crazy. The bassline is sick. Shakers are on point.. Cheri Dennis is teh future. I hope you get to work with my girl Dawn (FROM NEW ORLEANS!!!) and the rest of the band also.

ever heard of demos? Ryan and Corey are making a lot of songs for other artist, in this case his version was the demo for Cheri Dennis.

Lol, that’s funny man. I worked with Paul J. Falcon (Lose Control, I’m really hot, Dangerously In Love) and he didn’t get credited a lot of times for his studio engineering, and one time even for his production work for an Alicia Keys song — I don’t know why folks don’t take the time to do it — or make it seem like it isn’t that big of a deal.
I never usually write on your blog, but felt your pain on this one. Good luck to you and the NextSelection Team. Oh, can you mail me one of those chocolates….looks good, ha-ha.

I know about not getting credit for work I’ve done as well (as a writer, video production and website designer) and it is a PAINFUL feeling to know that people do this & think it is ok….espcially if what your contribution/work has gotten them big looks.
