I got in from Goteborg, dropped the suitcases off and immediately went to Montana Studios to check on Cassie’s rehearsal for her upcoming trip to Japan. You’ll hear me encouraging her to say “Tokyo” and “Konnichiwa”. This will be her first appearance in Asia - I’ve been there before in my college days:
In spite of Cassie’s rigorous schedule (she had been interviewing for 4 hours that day) in preparation for her world press and media tour, she exuded laser focus on excelling and meeting the challenge of earning the respect of the international team at Warner music.

It seems to me that Ryan Leslie is doing everything in his power to promote a talentless artist. I’m sorry but Cassie is an abomination to every true singer out there in this industry. She is nothing more than a pretty face and Ryan is doing everything in his power to try to convince the public otherwise. Did yall forget that Monica came out when she was only 14 years old??? She didn’t sound like that. I’ve seen the TRL and BET performance, and she wasn’t actually performing this time so what’s the excuse now? Ryan, I LOVE your production, you are truly amazing and I know your ear for music and talent is WAY beyond Cassie. Yes she is pretty, but singing is not her thing. And the excuses of not being ready or young isn’t cutting it. Since when does Diddy release albums and put people out there with him feeling like they aren’t ready? Danity Kane went through extensive prepping…where was Cassie’s prepping? If she’s so nervous then she should have worked with someone before her album came out. That’s an excuse.
