Real Love
After an ice-breaking gig last nite at the Bambuu Bar in Southampton, we drove to London for a series of shows, starting with this one at the New Connaught Rooms, where they demanded (and I delivered) an a cappella version of “Overdose”:
As you’ll notice midway thru this clip, Shiv, my tour manager and veteran NextSelection exec, had some serious doubts about the venue, which at first glance seemed like a wedding reception hall. Thankfully, I had the support of a lively group of supporters who knew the words and sang each one with me. That’s real love & I appreciate it.

a gig is a gig…they knew the songs & ur building a fan bases…i think it’s great…of course u can blow up over seas & then comeback to the u.s. & do it…
it works better for allot of artist to tour overseas 1st & then hit america because artist always do better overseas….. as long as u get a check in the process down the line @ the end of the day…that all that matters is the experience…

I gotta say that i liked the venue - felt really exclusive to me and i felt so lucky and happy to be there that night - singing along in that little corner was just one of the many highlights of that evening - definately one of the best of my life so far!
It wouldnt matter where you performed Ryan, you’d still have all the love and support of your fans. Can’t wait to see you again over here in the UK and am eagerly looking forward to your album release, it’s gonna be fantastic. : )
