Real Love

After an ice-breaking gig last nite at the Bambuu Bar in Southampton, we drove to London for a series of shows, starting with this one at the New Connaught Rooms, where they demanded (and I delivered) an a cappella version of “Overdose”:

As you’ll notice midway thru this clip, Shiv, my tour manager and veteran NextSelection exec, had some serious doubts about the venue, which at first glance seemed like a wedding reception hall. Thankfully, I had the support of a lively group of supporters who knew the words and sang each one with me. That’s real love & I appreciate it.

a gig is a gig…they knew the songs & ur building a fan bases…i think it’s great…of course u can blow up over seas & then comeback to the u.s. & do it…

it works better for allot of artist to tour overseas 1st & then hit america because artist always do better overseas….. as long as u get a check in the process down the line @ the end of the day…that all that matters is the experience…

No matter the circumstance you always deliver. You sound amazing and your presence with the crowd is touching. You have a connection with your fans. Your production and songwriting skills were greatly delivered and appreciated on Cassie’s album. My mom and I enjoy each song there’s no skipping a song on Cassie’s album. I’am ever devoted to the movement and will continue to spread the word and love that Nextselection brings. You have brought music back to a level that has not been heard since James Brown and Stevie Wonder, its all originally crafted and done with perfection. Love you man!!!!!

  48. MJGoodner:

    Dude,

I keep checking this site and seeing your career take shape and I can’t help but wonder… WHAT’S THE HOLD UP WITH YOUR ALBUM!!!

With your resources you could (and should) be in stores right now. I sure hope there’s a good reason other than your label is sittin on their thumbs. Your next song should be “They Keep Me Hangin On”.

Either way keep up the good work. You’re blazin a trail for other singer/songwriter/producers (like my aspiring self) out there and believe me it’s appreciated.

    Peace and Prosperity,

    Micah J. Goodner
