Remix Reaction
We could go on for days listing the remixes to Cassie’s “Me & U”. You’ve likely heard versions of the song that I have yet to discover. With everyone clamoring for the “official” remix title, I did this one for all the emcees, r&b singers, and djs that advertised their remixes on my myspace profile (and Cassie’s). You will find this one in stores June 20th … how official is that? Enjoy.
My loyal blog viewers will recognize this from my Back to Blog Business vid… To be honest, I am wearing a splint on my right wrist at the moment, due to the 18-20 hours a day I spend producing, recording, mixing, video editing, programming and blackberry e-mailing to keep hope alive for NextSelection and share my world with all of you. Even impending carpal tunnel syndrome will not hold me back from this mission. What’s crazy is that I came across your vlog on YouTube yesterday. I said to myself “now this is an interesting fellow”. I decided to do a net hunt; found your blog, profile, peeped Cassie’s “net footprint” and was genuinely pleased with what I found.

when i first heard “me&u” was on sirius in my charger, i dont have sirius in my Suburban, so now i dont drive the truck( i would be without my fav jam) so i downloaded the remix and it is top notch… they still dont play the original or the remix on the regular radio here, i thank god for sirius “Hot Jams” overplaying it, although, it can never be overplayed!

I think instead of promoting yourself by doing a remix for me and you, you should have taken all the advertised remixes from your blog and pick the ones that sound best and put them on one CD that would go to stores. That would have been more props to all the DJs, Remixers, etc, than you doing yourself.

Whut up R-Les?
First of all i need to tell u how much respect i got for ur work. About 2 years ago i received some r’n'b bootlegs vynils from my peeps in the states and thats the first time i heard from u… the song was ”the way that u move”! Everitime i was playing it in clubs the crowd got crazy over here in switzerland… i must say since i heard ur name for the first time i see it more and more. I found out that u produced a lot of my favorite songs… And as a dj/producer/sound engineer i must say i would ”love” to work with u one day. I’ll make sure that u’ll hear about me in the futur;-)
One more thing: i been playing the cassie’s song ”me & u” for over 1 year now but i received the official promo single only 2 months ago! how come the song wasn’t out officialy before because it already was a killer last summer over here!!
