Steam Off MayBack
Took a 3-hour train ride to Montpelier from Paris to perform for a very excited and responsive crowd at Club Mayback. My lack of sleep finally caught up with me and immediately following soundcheck at 7pm, I retreated to my room for what I anticipated to be a short nap before dinner with the promoters. Hours later, I awoke to a knock on my door: it was Shiv alerting me that I had slept thru dinner and had just a few minutes to prepare before we left for the club. This is one of the realities of touring - little sleep and hi-energy shows can leave you thoroughly exhausted. Regardless, I still left my all on the stage and gave 100% at the show - if you watch this clip closely (focus on the street light behind me), you will see steam literally rising from my back as I sat outside following the performance:
Now that is what we call hot.
